Overview of culture and tradition

India has different culture and tradition for different states that has been followed and developing for several thousands of years and it differs from region to region.

Religion

India is a birthplace for worlds most religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism and Jainism. Also Muslism and Christians are there in our population. All these religions are under one unique name ‘Indians’.

Food

Indian spices are harvest, manufacture and exported to all over places in the world. So many Indian food has it own medicinal benefits, it have so many tasteful flavours and innovations. Many foods follow ancient preparation methods in a modern lifestyle technologies. For each place it have their own festivals and celebration. Food is main part in all the events.

Languages

India has many different languages and every state to state language varies. India is a space with largest base of books, authors and publications. Most of the language are orally transmitted for many generations before it being written. The oldest among them is Rig-Vedas and taking back to two millennium.

Clothing

Colorful Sarees made from different fabric like silk, nylon, synthenic, artificial silk, cotton and many more used to weave the saree. It start from five to nine yards long and two to four feet breadth, it wrapped around the waist and draped over the shoulder. It may originated in temple dancers in ancient times. Saree allows to maintain modesty. Men wear dhoti and it is a unstitched cloth from four to five yards and it tied around the waist. Gandhi wear a dhoti, and considered as a attire that follows dignity and respect.

Architecture

Indian architecture showcases diverse styles from ancient time with temples built with rocks, and it influenced by Mughal and Mauryan emperor and now it is with modern skyscrapers. It reflecting the history, culture and religion.

Arts and Music

Indian arts and music emcompass classical traditions like Hindustani and Carnatic music. And with this it have bharathnatiyam, kuchupudi and other forms in dance. Fork and other music styles and art forms like sculptures, paintings and textiles. And all of these deep-rooted in religious and cultural traditions.
